Yes there is indeed a monthly meeting at Canberra
Girls Grammar School tomorrow night Wed 12 Jan 05 at 8pm as usual, and as
advertised in the December issue of Gang-gang. The January meeting is
billed as 'members' night' though ordinary members are strangely reluctant to
perform! The program will include a talk by Joe Forshaw (no 'ordinary' member
but ..) on cockatoos in Canberra, by Tanya Rough on bird smuggling and what we
are doing to counter it, by Sue Lashko and Rosemary Bell on South African
birding; and will feature two Dabb extravaganzas, the 'Triflebird' and COG at
Yathong NR.
