Has anyone else noticed that the Michael Morecombe field guide has now been published in a compact version?  I only saw this for the first time today, whilst visiting the bookstore.  Seems like an improvement, as I find the normal format is too large to carry, with ease, in the field.  Does anyone know if Pizzey & Knight and/or Simpson & Day plan to follow suit?  A complete field guide for a palm pilot/pocket PC would be even better.

p.s. the compact Morecombe was retailing for $35.
