Frogmouths, Hill, Tharwa

At Hawker 2 nights ago saw two tawny frogmouths feeding 2 dependent fledglings, which actually appeared bigger than they were.

Jerrabomberra hill- Male leaden flycatcher, speckled warblers, eastern yellow robin, ~5 sitellas feeding 2 dependent young, 1 sparrowhawk (I think). Lots of mid story and lower story plants many in flower, curved rice flowers, tea trees, goodenias.

 

Tharwa sandwash- rufous songlarks, 7 dollarbirds, 2 bee eaters, no white winged trillers. Medium sized Bird of prey which didn't come close enough to identify. swallows eagerly eating charcoal left from a camp fire. Redbrows, double bars. White throated gerygone. Black fronted dotterel.
