Hi all,

I saw this bird at an ocean beach in Port Stephens, NSW last Friday afternoon.

It was solitary (ie only one of its species), however hanging out with some seagulls.

Looks like ( a Bar Tailed Godwit) it could possibly be an Asian Dowitcher (non breeding)? The distinct stripe across the eye and white either side…….

Thanks in advance,

Kind Regards,

Rod Mackay
