The sentence, and the impact of the slaughter, has been featured extensively on 
the ABC Melbourne news today.
Jon Faine discussed the matter with a caller and pointed out that it is almost 
unheard of for magistrates to give custodial sentences to offenders who do not 
have a criminal record.
The magistrate did make a comment about Silvester being back in New Zealand so 
I expect deportation is likely.
