Hi David,

It looks like a female Golden Whistler to me.

Hi

The robin-like bird (I guess about 14-15 cm, size approximately of an
Eastern Yellow Robin) popped up in our yard today. I cannot identify it as a
robin from my books or indeed as any other bird. Ideas? Photographed today.

Many thanks in advance

David in Blackheath
