Hi. Not sure what contacts you have been trying but: usually gets response. There may be infrastructure issues in the area - power blackouts & telecommunications issues are very common in PNG. Kumul is a spectacular place, I'm sure you will enjoy it immensely. Just don't expect 5 star facilities or service. It's in the highlands so may be colder than you expect. Be prepared.
