For those who haven't already heard, this is from the Australian Twitchers 
Facebook group. Quite a few reports of the bird from today.

***GREY-HEADED LAPWING***

Birdline NSW just received a report of the above species from the Penrith 
Regatta Centre (western Sydney) for today (5/9/15)

Report as follows:
Single bird with Masked lapwings at Penrith International Regatta Centre. 
Southern side of rowing lake, eastern end near learn to ride motor bike area. 
Spotted with Ryley who was learning to drive @ 4pm - still there at Centre 
close 5.30pm.
