Following reports of duck shooters at the Western Treatment Plant at Easter,
rescuers attended last Sunday and found the following:
Musk Duck (female or immature)
Pied Cormorant
Little Penguin.
The latter was examined by a specialist wildlife vet who advised that its
injuries were likely caused by a dog.
Duck shooters with dogs were observed along the beach at the end of Beach Rd by
a birder reporting on Facebook page, Victorian Birders.
