Sightings info etc

Hi All, 

I'm fairly new to this birdwatching caper, so please excuse my lack of 
knowledge. 

I'm looking for a site or forum where I can find info on recent sightings, 
places to 
go, and things to see. I've tried 'Feathers and Photo's' and Eremaea, but there 
is 
just the occasional post there. 

Does anyone have any idea where I can find this sort of information on a 
regular 
basis? I just need info so I can use my bird time more productively.
