Last time I checked, the Australian list was missing a lot of species - 
pelagics, wet tropics, Cape York Peninsula, Top End, Kimblerley, South West 
Aus, Mallee, Lake Eyre basin species as well as the island territories.

I have put together a list of apparent omissions (not doubt a bit out of date 
by the time I post it) - If you see (or saw on Friday or Saturday) these birds 
on Sunday and Monday, you might like to submit them to the GBBC  
http://ebird.org/ebird/gbbc/submit
