   Published sightings for the week ending 13 Oct 2014.

   Sun 12 Oct Tawny Frogmouth, Gull-billed Tern Western Treatment Plant
   (Werribee)
   Tawny Frogmouth spotted by Jenny in woodlot, Pt Wilson Road. 8
   Gull-billed Tern roosting in T Section Pond 7, among many Whiskered
   Tern and waders
   Bill Ramsay, Dave Torr, Jenny Rowland, Euan Moore, Gina Hopkins
   Sat 11 Oct Spotted Quail-thrush Bailieston
   One male Spotted Quail-thrush was seen by all and photographed by those
   with cameras at Bailieston on the Birdlife Echuca District outing to
   Rushworth last Saturday. We observed this beautiful bird at a distance
   for about half an hour before walking away. A "lifer" for some members.
   Geoff Russell, Murray Chambers, Ian Mayo, Betty Waterson, Keith
   Stockwell, etc.
   Scarlet Honeyeater Cheviot Hill, Point Nepean
   A male Scarlet Honeyeater seen by several members of the RFNC just back
   from the gun emplacement on Cheviot Hill. Was calling loudly while
   perched but flew and we could not re-locate it.
   Jackson Airey and members of the RFNC October excursion
   Thu 9 Oct Swift Parrot Woodlands Drive, Ocean Grove
   3 flying easterly at tree top level, calling. a.m. (moderators note:
   late record)
