Published sightings for the week ending 18 May 2014.

Fri 16 May Eastern Curlew Ralphs Bay Conservation Area, Lauderdale
A single bird seen roosting at the tip of the spit, near the bridge over the canal, just after high tide. It moved to the shore opposite Windy's bakery to a position about 20 metres from the road. I was unable to locate it later after the tide receded and all the other birds were feeding.

A lone bird with other ducks.

Single bird feeding with 4 Red-capped Plovers.

One flying up from a field beside Colebrook Rd just before Boyes St, Dulcot, at 15:44.

33 Blue-billed duck in flotilla on western side of dam today looking very colourful in the bright autumn sunshine.
