Peter, I think this is a top idea as I have been keenly interested in the
Bird-a-day challenge but with work and all it is very difficult for me to
participate....I was thinking of something along the lines of Bird-a-day
weekend style but I think your seven birds a week is a better idea.

I wonder how much easier it would be if the idea was to see 7 different
birds a week instead of one a day. Then the weekend birders would have some
sort of chance.

I'm guessing most people would get much further into the year with ease, but
there must still come a point where it starts to get hard. And if you do
happen to get through the year easily this way, why stop at a year?
