Mon 2 Dec White-necked Heron Amata Waste Water Treatment Plant
Brief visit with a couple of teachers from Amata School who were interested in seeing the White-necked Herons. White-necked Heron (19) Very surprised by the number of these birds assembled on the shallow overflow pond. These birds have been present in small numbers (no more than 3) over the past two weeks and then absent for past couple of days before reappearing today in a large group.
