Cape gannet at Point Danger

Hi everyone
I was hoping to visit Point Danger near Portland on Sunday to look for the
recently reported Cape Gannet. From my reading of these reports, it appears
that one must pass through a locked gate in order to proceed to the electric
fence. I was hoping that someone could advise me as to how, or who I need to
contact to get permission, to enter through this gate. Maybe someone who has
recently visited this spot could pass on advice.
As always, thanks for any advice.
Kind regards
