In addition to the juvenile Oriental Plover, we found an adult Asian
Gull-billed Tern (G. n. affinis) at Kakadu Beach, Bribie Island, today.
Important note:  It is in a 'No Access' zone to protect shorebirds - roosting
visitors and breeding Australian Pied Oystercatchers, Beach Stone-Curlews etc.
The birds can be easily seen from the two hides and the footpath between the
hides.

Cheers,

Nikolas

The Oriental Plover found recently by Tom Tarrant on Bribie Island was still
there today.
