Hi all,

This past weekend we had a very successful double-header Eaglehawk Neck
Pelagic. Both days combined had 33 pelagic bird species (including 11 albatross
species and 4 Pterodroma species [following IOC]), 2 pelagic mammal species and
great looks at a Blue Shark. Avian highlights were a Sooty Albatross and a
probable Broad-billed Prion. While we believe that we can rule out Salvin's, it
is way more difficult to rule out MacGillivray's Prion; a BARC submission is in
preparation).

For a detailed trip report, a full species list and a link to Raja's
photographs, please visit SOSSA's website:

Cheers,

Nikolas
