Forest Wagtail
Same site as previous reports in Alice Springs
After 4 days of sitting on site and watching; at last, this morning about 8:00am, the wagtail was seen for about 2 minutes. The owners of the house report that they are seeing this bird less and less - perhaps it's found more greener pastures nearby. Other good birds seen around Alice Springs were Dusky Grasswren up on Mt Gillen and Orange Chats around the famous Sewerage ponds.

Black Eared Cuckoo
Simpson's Gap Bike Path..junction of first service road
Went to Cassia Hill Walking trail but was sidetracked and ended up going along the bike path. At the junction of the service road a Black Eared Cuckoo landed on a branch in front of me. Good views for about 20 seconds before it was harassed by Spiny Cheeked Honeyeater and disappeared...
