Published sightings for the week ending 5 May 2013.

Sun 5 May Yellow-faced Honeyeater, White-naped Honeyeater, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Cudlee Creek Forest Biking Venue
Yellow-faced Honeyeater, White-naped Honeyeater and Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo graced the chilly start of a mountain bike race with their calls.

Tue 30 Apr Freckled Duck Hart Lagoon, Waikerie
An update from yesterday, the count was 64 this morning from one small part of the eastern end of the lagoon - are there more?

Mon 29 Apr Rufous Night Heron Adelaide
Most surprised to find 5 of this species using the front oval of a college opposite the Adelaide parklands as a feeding site this evening! Nuchal plumes and yellow legs were visible on the nearest bird. Masked lapwing were present for comparison.

Freckled Duck (8) seen close to shore near the bird hide giving easy identification.

Fri 26 Apr Black-eared Cuckoo, White-browed Woodswallow, White-winged Triller 34 05S 139 38E 1' Cell
A few summer visitors still enjoying a couple of sunny day with temperatures in mid 20's. Black-eared Cuckoo calling occasionally in open area, White-browed Woodswallow (around 10) calling overhead and White-winged Triller calling as it moved through the mallee.
