Boobook and Spotted Harrier
Oxley Creek Common
Harrier was in swamp/grasslands on the opposite side of the road from the main entrance. Boobook was flushed from trackside trees (approx) 150 meters in from the gate.

Black and Common Noddies
Point Lookout, North Stradbroke Island
5 Black and up to 100 Common Noddies were the highlight of a morning seawatch. Also large numbers of Terns, over 400 Common Terns and 200 Little Terns, 200 Wedge-tailed Shearwaters and a Pom Skua.

Common Tern, Little Tern
Ewan Maddock Dam, Landsborough
Approx. 6 Common Terns and 3 Little Terns hawking and diving near the causeway north of the Kowald Road entrance. First time I have seen these species here over many years of regular visits. Photo of Common Tern attached.

Bush Stone-curlew (Bush Thick-knee)
Brisbane City Botanic Garden
2 Bush Stone-curlews on the pedestrians/bike path under street lights at 2am. (Also heard this species at the South Bank side of Goodwill Bridge 4th March 8am and outside the Translational Research Institute, Woolloongabba, 7th and 8th March, late pm)
