A public forum on threatened species is to be held TONIGHT, to be addressed by Richard Di Natale, Greens senator, and experts on forestry issues. I gather it will mostly address the plight of the Leadbeaters Possum but, as we know, several species of birds are affected by logging and bushfires in central Victorian forests. Venue: 60L Green Building, 60 Leicester Street, Carlton (where Birdlife Victoria monthly meetings are held) Time: 6 pm RSVP: http://richard-di-natale.greensmps.org.au/events/public-forum-leadbeaters-possum-facing-extinction =============================== To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: http://birding-aus.org =============================== |
