Sat 6 Oct	Black-tailed Native-hen Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick A solitary Black-tailed Native-hen was observed by Milburn next to the path to Crake Alley. Milburn; Alastair Smith
Sat 6 Oct	Brown Songlark, Spotted Dove Kellys Swamp & Jerrabomberra Wetlands, Fyshwick Brown Songlark (1) Male observed engaging in display flights Spotted Dove. First time I have observed this species at Kellys since march 2001. Alastair Smith
Sat 6 Oct	Freckled Duck West Belconnen Pond 3 birds on the West Basin early this morning. Still present at 10.30. Peter Christian
	Hooded Robin National Zoo and Aquarium Hooded Robin (1) A male seen on the zoo boundary fence, behind Giraffe enclosure. Brendan Sheean
Fri 5 Oct	White-necked Heron Dickson Wetland An adult White-necked Heron flew in from the north and stayed at Dickson Wetland for about 5 minutes this morning. After taking flight it soared to high altitude and then departed in the direction from whence it came. PJ Milburn
	Masked Woodswallow, White-browed Woodswallow Birrigai @ Tidbinbilla Masked Woodswallow, White-browed Woodswallow- Approx. 200+ woodswallows passed slowly by this morning, with an almost equal mix of Masked & White-browed. They took around 15 mins to pass & were heading NE. Scott Ryan
Thu 4 Oct	Masked Woodswallow, White-browed Woodswallow Shepherds Lookout A mixed flock of Masked Woodswallows and White-browed Woodswallows flew over chattering noisily at about 17.30 on Thursday. Also seen were a Red-capped Robin and a Fan-tailed Cuckoo. Christine D
Wed 3 Oct	European Goldfinch, Diamond Firetail Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve European Goldfinch (4) Sitting on fenceline at front of reserve at 0700, first I've seen here. Diamond Firetail (3) also sitting on fenceline at front of reserve Scott Ryan
Tue 2 Oct	Masked Woodswallow Jerrabomberra West Reserve Last Tuesday while doing the COG woodland survey in Jerrabomberra West Reserve (off Monaro Hwy opposite the jail), a flock of 12 Masked Woodswallows was circling low over the reserve. cheers Jenny Jenny Bounds
Mon 1 Oct	Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo, White-throated Gerygone, Western Gerygone, White-winged Triller, Rufous S Callum Brae Nature Reserve A number of summer migrants observed this morning including: Horsfield's Bronze-Cuckoo White-throated Gerygone (2) Heard Western Gerygone (2) Heard White-winged Triller (1) male Rufous Songlark male Alastair Smith
Mon 1 Oct	Sacred Kingfisher The Pinnacle Nature Reserve Sacred Kingfisher (2) Pair Alistair & Carmen Drake
	White-necked Heron Mulligan's Flat Sanctuary A juvenile White-necked Heron circled once over the Pipeline Road in Mulligan's Flat Sanctuary at 13:00 today and then returned to New South Wales. PJ Milburn
	Peregrine Falcon Mulligan's Flat Sanctuary An adult male Peregrine Falcon was flying over the eastern parts of the Sanctuary early this morning. PJ Milburn
