Have just downloaded the new i-phone app Whales & Dolphins of Australia, New
Zealand & the Antarctic. Should be of interest to any sea-birders or cetacean
enthusiasts. Beautifully illustrated by Brett Jarret, covers around 45 species
that are found in the region and includes an interactive map of the southern
oceans that generates lists of likely and less likely species to be found at
any location. Also includes a photographic gallery and links to relevant
articles published in Wildiaries. Hoping to do some field -tests on Portland
pelagic tomorrow. Would recommend -if interested check out link:
whaleapp.wildiaries.com .
