RFI Mallee Fowl in WA

We are planning a trip to south west Western Australia in October and are would 
like to see Mallee Fowl. We understand there were some active mounds near 
Jerramungup but we don’t want to go that far east unless there is a good chance 
of seeing one. Can anyone give us an update?
