Hi all

I agree totally with Luke Shelley - Eremaea is an amazing site.  Not only is it a personal record, it contributes to the Atlas of Australian Birds, the Atlas of Living Australia and probably others.  Our wildlife needs this kind of data so that we can monitor changes over time and hopefully prevent further declines in species.  Having moderators on the site ensures that records are accurate, and therefore trustworthy for scientific bodies and government. 

As a travel resource it is also very powerful.  I use it to plan all my holidays now. 

Eremaea Birds is a work of genius, and I highly commend the creators.  I encourage birders to use it more.
