Birdline Tasmania

Published sightings for the week ending 29 Apr 2012.

Sun 29 Apr Wedge-tailed Eagle Southern approach to Spring Hill, Midlands Highway
A pair circling over hills beside Highway.
Shirley and Kimberley Tongue

Wed 25 Apr African Lovebirds North Motton
Continuing the theme of escapee exotics - there was a pair (!) of Black-faced African Lovebirds hanging around the ANZAC Ceremony at North Motton this afternoon. Not sure whether they would be capable of surviving a Tassie winter (??), or of breeding, if they do.
John, Shirley and Kimberley Tongue

Birdline Tasmania is sponsored by Eremaea Birds and co-ordinated and hosted by Eremaea Birds.
