Hi Folks.
If you are visiting Far North Queensland (Townsville to Daintree via Cairns and Atherton Tableland) you can now download a free App onto your iPhone,iPod touch or iPad.as long as you have iOS 3.2 or later installed. The app has the latest info, bird descriptions, GPS locations to the regions bird sites, recommended birders accommodation, local tour guides, cruises and tours. It also has images and calls of many of the regions birds including the 12 endemics.

There is more information and adownload link on our bi-weekly blog site at http://kingfisherparkbirdwatchers.blogspot.com/ or you can go straight to the download at http://www.birdtrailstropicalqueensland.com/app

cheers,
Keith & Lindsay
