It's always nice to see Gangs Gangs Anthea.
They are regular visitors to my neck of the woods - Box Hill - and I have
stopped reporting sightings because I had assumed that they are now
commonplace.
I usually see one to three Gangs Gangs but we had a flock of ten in our
local small park - Bolton Park - on the morning of 28 March. They were
quite demonstrative, flying in sweeping arcs from one tree to another and
stimulating responses from the resident Magpies and Noisy Miners.

We have just seen a group of seven Gang Gangs in our Sugar Gum, above
Darebin Creek, at 8.45 am. They seemed to be moving upstream, i.e.
northwards.
They used to be a regular autumn-winter sighting, but it has been some
years since we saw any, and never so many at once.
