Hi all,
It looks like I am finally going to PNG, so I am hurriedly doing some more
research. Could anyone that has been to Kumul Lodge tell me if it is possible,
and safe, to go birdwatching out of the grounds of the lodge and if the Pigetes
site can be accessed by walk from the lodge (it is unclear if this is the case,
one trip report suggested they HAD walked there). The price for the tours is
pushing my budget.
I also plan to visit Kiunga and then Varirata National Park. I'd like to get
to Keki Lodge but it looks difficult, and since I'm a novice international
traveller I'm hesitant.
Any other advice, suggestions etc. would be most welcome! (please reply to me
privately on
Many thanks, Dean
