Mallard (wild-type) Lake Clarendon
One male in partial eclipse plumage flew by in a flock of Pacific Black Ducks. This is the first time I've seen a Mallard in QLD that was not obviously derived from domestic stock.

Late afternoon two birds calling across a small channel. One bird observed well for 2-3 minutes. Both birds continued to call past last light.
