It's pretty easy. Two points of access. First and probably best is Astrolabe
Rd, Astrolabe Park. Drive to the end and easy parking. On the way in you
pass the Bonnie Doon GC. Good stuff in the park and long grass of driving
range. Saw Greenfinch party a year ago. Walk across a couple of fairways and
you are at the lakes. Lots of walkers with dogs - so you are not alone, but
head for the lakes and hug the shoreline and you should be safe from my
sliced mashy niblick!. Other access is corner of Martin Ave and Donaldson
St. Look for gap in chain link fence at LH end by Oleander bush.

Cheers
