Hi Michael,

I wondered about this too, but on checking both Eremaea and Birdata, it
appears there have been sporadic sightings in the area over the years.

I wonder if anyone else has first-hand sightings of this species around
Wagga? I would also like to see photos of this sighting.

There have been many reports of Barn Owls recently, could this bird be that
species.Masked Owls are very scarce inland, a Barn Owl would for more around
the Wagga area. Be great to see some of the photos to check. Michael Ramsey>
