Birdwatchers visiting Croydon in early September?

Greetings,
I've had a request to be part of a field day for primary school children in 
Croydon in the Queensland gulf country on September 2nd. I cannot do it though 
would love to.

If any one is going to be in the area and would like to get involved please 
contact me and I'll pass you onto the right people. 

It might be a great chance to make contacts with their parents and gain access 
to areas where there has been little birding.
