Published sightings for the week ending 19 Jun 2011.

Sat 18 Jun Black-bellied Storm Petrels Southport Pelagic - off the shelf
Several classic Black-bellieds and many Wilson's today. The possible NZSP was seen along side these species on many occasions. Also today 200+ Providence Petrels, 5+ Great-winged Petrels (all gouldii), a few Brown Noddy, a few Australian Gannets. Not huge diversity - but an exciting trip!

Mon 13 Jun Yellow-nosed Albatross, Buller's Albatross, Great-winged Petrel Pt Lookout, North Stradbroke Island
1 Yellow-nosed Albatross (>), 1 immature Buller's Albatross (>) and 1 Great-winged Petrel (>) in a 6 hour seawatch, which also included 7 Fluttering and 25 Fluttering/Hutton's Shearwater types, 4 Prion sp and ~ 159 Australian Gannets.

Sun 12 Jun Red-tailed Black-cockatoo University of Qld Gatton Campus
12 observed feeding on the ground near the campus residences. Accompanied by Jill and Paul Rendell and Rob Leighton

Little Shearwater Point Lookout, Stradbroke Island
A single bird was seen early am on Sunday off Point Lookout, Straddy, loosely associating with a small group of Fluttering Shearwater. Also seen during the seawatch, a single Wilson's Petrel and an imm Brown Booby. Otherwise quiet, just a steady trickle of gannets and fluttering shearwaters.
