Hi All,

Have a few more interesting sightings to report from around the Vic
River/Timber Creek area over the past couple of weeks...

Policeman's Point (Timber Creek) - Yellow-rumped Mannikin, Star Finch,
Purple-crowned Fairywren and Spinifex Pigeon.

Victoria River Escarpment Walk - White-quilled Rock-Pigeon, Northern Rosella,
Short-eared Rock-Wallaby and Euro.

Old Victoria River Crossing - Star Finch

Joe's Creek - fleeting views of what was probably a White-quilled Rock-Pigeon
high up the escarpment.

Buchanan Highway - Pictorella Mannikin, Gouldian Finch, Star Finch, Australian
Bustard, Diamond Dove, Northern Rosella.

It seems to have been a good season for Gouldians; they have not been difficult
to find this year, and the other finches seem to be in good numbers as well.

If anyone has any questions, let me know.

Good birding!
