Hi All,

Have been in the SW Top End for the past week or so, with a few notable
sightings as follows:

Aroona Station (about 90kms SW of Katherine) - Australian Bustard, Diamond
Dove, Masked and Long-tailed Finch.

Buntine Highway - 2 separate groups of Ground Cuckoo-Shrike. I find them on
this road more often than not.

Timber Creek (including the airfield, escarpment and Policeman's Point) -
Gouldian, Masked and Long-tailed Finches, Red-backed Kingfisher, Grey-fronted
and Banded Honeyeaters, Varied Lorikeets and Black-tailed Treecreeper.

Bullita Access Rd - Red-browed Pardalote, more Gouldian, Masked and Long-tailed
Finches, Black-chinned (Golden-backed) Honeyeater and Red-backed Kingfisher.

If anyone wants more details, please let me know.

Good birding!

Nick Leseberg
