Published sightings for the week ending 22 May 2011.

Sun 22 May Kelp gull Gladstone
Saw bird in the marina this morning. Juvenile plumage Bird was at resr and then took flight.

Sat 21 May Turquoise Parrot, Honeyeaters Durikai
1 seen near waterhole,also lots of Honeyeaters (14 species seen during day but no Regents!),2 White-browed Babblers,4 Speckled Warblers and loads of Little Lorikeets.

white-backed swallow Cement mills road,Gore
1 bird seen near Quarry,also along the road were 2 Diamond Firetails nestbuilding,several Plum-headed finches,2 Hooded Robins and a Rufous Songlark.

Fri 20 May Lesser Crested Tern Caloundra Head, Caloundra.
One bird resting with 20+ Crested Terns.

Mon 16 May Glossy Ibis Kedron Brook Wetlands South of Cannery Creek Northgate
While riding my bycycle along the bike track I noticed a Glossy Ibis feeding in the wetlands within metres of the track. The wetlands were alive with Australian White Ibis and Royal Spoonbills
