My email was not complete and I wanted to add the relevant BASQ bits before
it was circulated Here is the addition which completes the story.
After I contacted Dez Wells, Chair of BASQ, he called Reg to discuss at
length and offered to sign a joint letter between BASQ and CHIP protesting
against the proposed development drafted by Reg. Reg did not follow up by
drafting the letter and the matter lapsed. Also BASQ urged BA members in SQ
to write as individuals to their local politician which I'm sure many did.
I'd be happy if that was posted on Birding Aus and circulated widely.
