White-faced Heron, Great Knot
Parham
White-faced Heron: spread across southern limit of Parham Beach toward Webb Beach (48). Great Knot: southern limit of beach on edge of exposed rocky shore (12).

Great Knot, Bar-tailed Godwit, Double-banded Plover, Red Knot
Thompson Beach
Great Knot: one with partial breeding plumage (5). Bar-tailed Godwit: small group associating with mixed flock of Knot sp. (no breeding plumage evident) (5). Double-banded Plover: central beach (access via main carpark) just in from waters edge on a very low 'high' tide (3). Red Knot: (est.) ** One bird with two leg bands - RIGHT LEG black on top, white below.
A few others showing advanced breeding plumage with red colouring through head,throat,chest and belly. (30).

Spotted Harrier, Cape Barren Goose, Banded Lapwing
Porter Lagoon near Burra
Spotted Harrier: flying over small section of marsh on right hand side of road on approach to the old toilets/track, skirmishing and locking talons w/ Falcons (3). Cape Barren Goose: feeding among taller grass, perhaps 10 metres from water on south-western edge viewed from Barrier hwy (3). Banded Lapwing: as per CB Geese (2).
