Grey Falcon
Orange Creek
A single bird hunting Major Mitchell's Cockatoos in the large River Red Gums of Orange Creek where it crosses the Stuart Highway. I was there pre-dawn and the bird flew down from a considerable height at a very steep angle from the east and into a flock of 15 Major Mitchell's Cockatoos just as the sun broke the horizon. Clearly identified yellow feet and facial parts and grey breast and back.
