I think you missed my point...I was referring to the last sentence of that 
paragraph (which doesn't deal with size). I just thought it was a brilliant 
line 
- I thoroughly enjoyed it in fact.

Well Mick, some sparrow species are pretty big and some Storm Petrels are 
pretty 
small. Probably a cross-over point somewhere.
