G'day folks,
The unfortunate increase in feral dog activity at Alice
Springs Sewage Ponds has forced the temporary closure of the ponds for the
foreseeable future.

I have posted the contents of an email forwarded from Power & Water on the
Birds Central blog.

Anyone planning to visit Alice in the near future feel free to get in touch
for updates on the situation and alternative birding destinations around
town - fortunately there are plenty!

Cheers,
          Chris Watson
          Alice Springs
