Mon 3 Jan Gouldian Finch Katherine
Very happy to report the continuing observations of 'suburbian Gouldians'. Observed some in Chardon St, 12+ on the highway opposite Crawford St and a couple along Chambers Drive, all in one walk. Always accompanying good numbers of masked, log-tailed finches and Chesnut-breasted Mannikins. They are enjoying the seeding heads on the local grasses (a Kooch I think). Very encouraging and enjoyable to watch. 20.
