We get Long-billed Corellas and Little Corellas in the Grafton-Coutts Crossing area but have not noted any birds that appear to be hybrids between the two. We do, however, regularly get hybrid Little Corella/Galahs. I have also seen a photo of what appeared to be a Long-billed Corella/Galah hybrid.

At Urunga a few years back I observed a mixed flock of LBC and LCs with one different Corella. It had an intermediate length bill, red lores and lack of red on the chest. I considered that it was an escaped Western Corella Cacatua pastinator as it fitted that species' description perfectly. Does anyone on the list know if the Western Corella is kept in captivity in NSW?
