Zipping around the summit of Mt Gravatt sometime about noon today. It was a grand sight watching them swooping through, sometimes almost at ground level. The weather was improving after about 5 days of rain periods, so only a band of rain to the north under a heavy sky.

I also came across a family of Tawny Frogmouths on the way up to the top. I saw an adult perched on a long branch and then noticed two immatures perched in a fork above it. They had somewhat owl-like faces.

Regards, Laurie.
