Hello all,

            Update Thursday 9 Dec 2010 from Cocos.

 

1.  1 x COMMON REDSHANK photographed on North Keeling.

2.  3 x BULWER'S PETREL at sea between West Is and North Keeling.

3.  1 x JOUANIN'S PETREL at sea between West Is and North Keeling.

4.  1 x PURPLE-BACKED STARLING photographed on Home Island this morning.

5.  1 x male WATERCOCK on Home Island this morning. Flushed and only seen by
three people.  Separate bird to the one seen by David James on West Island
four days ago.

6.  Up to three seperate EURASIAN HOBBY on the islands.  

7.  2-3 ORIENTAL CUCKOO on West and Home Islands.

8.  8-10 PIN-TAILED SNIPE on West Island.

 

Still two days to go!!
