Hi Col and Chris,
The first bird looks like a Gibber Chat to me. The colouration of the bird,
plus the stance looks right, where Orange Chat would be less yellow and the
colour would be in different places. I'm happy to be overruled though as
I've not seen Gibber Chat before.
Your second bird is a male Brown Songlark going into breeding plumage.
