Hi all, I just wanted to get the word out that yesterday morning a group of birders saw Scarlet-chested Parrots at the exact GPS location that James Watson reported them from a couple of weeks ago. I haven't got any more details than that yet, but no doubt when Simon Mustoe gets back he will provide more information. In the brief chat I had with him, he did say conditions due to rain were getting seriously bad, so no doubt people will have to wait a while before trying to access the road. For those who are thinking of heading out there, the details of the previous sightings, including photos from Ian May, can be found at: http://birdo.wildiaries.com/trips/10285 The GPS co-ordinates are: 25deg 04.059'S 129deg 55.790'E.
