Hi all,
Saw the most marvelous sight this morning. A male Koel landed in a tree
close by where I was busy reading the morning paper, seconds later a Little
Friarbird started to attack him. There was snapping open beaks and loads
screeching from both, finally the Friar got a hold of a bunch of neck
feathers and would not let go. The Koel took off in flight but the Friar
hung on until they both crashed into another tree. Maybe the Friar should
be re-named?
Cheers,
Tom Sjolund
